The Pinnacle Schools adventure programs provide diagnostic and assessment services, supplemented by a clinically supported outdoor challenge. The programs offer physician directed medication management and clinician facilitated individual and group therapy. Programs include an accredited academic curriculum and state certified educators who provide mentoring and tutoring

The Pinnacle Schools recognizes the importance of education and believes no student should fall behind academically during treatment. Students in grades 7-12 attend school daily in our 2,800 square foot learning center. Our academic curriculum is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and by the Commission of International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA). Courses include a full range of core curriculum, advanced placement, honors, college preparatory and numerous electives.

We are one component of a continuum of growth for struggling teens and their families.

Collectively, our staff has over 100 years experience working with troubled teens and their families. Team members are carefully selected for their leadership skills, maturity and compassion. Our professional staff includes physicians, licensed professional counselors, registered dietician, certified exercise specialist, wilderness first responders, advanced wilderness life support responders, psychologists, registered nurses, family nurse practitioner, Ph.D. and Masters level educators, and a “Leave no trace” Master Educator.
