A Therapeutic intervention where troubled teens break the cycle of destructive behavior

Admissions counselors are available to assist you 24 hours a day. Enrollments can be scheduled seven days a week, around the clock

Behavior is spiraling out of control. They may have clinical, behavioral, or learning diagnosis which contribute to their behavior problems. They may have experimented with drugs or alcohol. They may be running away, defying authority, or hiding from life.

A four phase curriculum which combines emotional growth, meaningful work, physical challenge, Therapeutic guidance and clinical assessment

Each participant has a clinical Case Manager directing care.

Teens live in teepees in a setting where they exercise, eat well balanced meals, breathe fresh air, and begin taking responsibility for self-management

Parents participate throughout the Ascent program. Parent letters are part of the Therapeutic process for teens, and parent communication with the case manager is part of the family education process. The last weekend of Ascent is a Family Workshop, an emotionally safe environment for reconciliation and reunification.

A research and time-tested, clinically supervised """"""""outdoor behavioral health"""""""" or """"""""Therapeutic adventure"""""""" program, ASCENT saves lives

Admissions counselor will assist with applications, finance and insurance options, assessments, and professional referrals

Staffed by highly experienced outdoor educators and clinicians with outstanding credentials. The staff includes several psychologists, a consulting psychiatrist, masters-level social workers, and certified outdoor instructors. Ascent's Chief Instructors are certified as Wilderness First Responders

The low children-to-staff ratio ensures a level of attention and safety to support each child to succeed both as an individual and as a member of a working team.
