Missouri Military Academy brings out the best in young men in grades 5-12 from around the world. Their diversity in a nurturing environment encourages achievement in academics, athletics, extra-curricular activities and leadership training. Their cultivation in ethical conduct and accountability at MMA complements the standards of the Academy and their homes.
The nucleus of the school is a very supportive academic program. Small classes, daily extra help sessions, and supervised study by caring teachers provide an extra boost that a young man needs to get into the college of his choice.
Every MMA cadet participates in one of 11 varsity and 6 intramural sports each season. They are encouraged to develop their latent talents in fine arts and other extra-curricular activities. The Academy believes that competitive and cultured adults are developed from young people who participate in school and community activities.
MMA creates leadership training opportunities within its JROTC program and residential units. Learning early how to lead others provides MMA students with an edge when they reach college and employment.
Well-developed independence with personal discipline are key in making mature decisions and implementing them during challenging tasks. Achieving that goal before leaving high school places the MMA graduate well ahead of his peers.
MMA works with a number of educational financing institutions, including
